History
The first edition of ‘The Throne of Absence’ was issued in December 1995. Back then, it was a DIY paper fanzine, mainly focusing on the Belgian underground. Further issues also featured renowned bands across the globe. Anno 2005, the last printed booklet was titled ‘the Seventh Seal’. Eventually, throughout the years, over 80 interviews with bands, labels, and artists were conducted in 7 zines. The online version of the fanzine ended up in a deep coma to finally cease to exist in 2014 (?) due to an utter lack of time. Resurrected in the pandemic year 2020.
